Snug. Cheerful. Welcoming. Tamarack is small but super cozy. Sit around the proverbial kitchen table and do jigsaw puzzles, play cards, stare at your laptop, or nibble and sip local food and drinks. (The local wines deserve real crystal, in the curio cabinet.) The sofa is great for watching the HD smart TV, reading, or taking a no doubt well-deserved nap. Note that there is just a doorway, not a door, into the bedroom, and the bathroom (with a door!) is off the bedroom, so if a third person is camped on the sofa, everyone better be best buds. Cotton sheets and quilts atop a memory foam mattress. Books at hand, if you aren't too pooped after a day of hard work or adventuring.
A classic early 20th century kitchen queen is the center of attention in the cooking zone. Sweet small stove is big enough for most pizzas.
Off the bedroom, the bathroom has no bathtub, just a shower. It does, however, boast the only fan (bathroom or kitchen) at the cottages, probably purchased from Boeing.
Old-fashioned is fun, as long as it doesn't stand between you and an icy cold drink on a 100-degree day. Fear not, plenty of chill in the fridge, beer glasses waiting in the freezer. Espresso machine if the coffeemaker doesn't cut it for you. Blender for margaritas.
Absolutely charming cottage that will remind you of your Grandmother’s house. Filled with warm and thoughtful antiques. Great hostess and very convenient location if you are looking for a unique place to stay in Okanogan.

A small gem! Truly fun place to stay. Gerri was very accomodating to my fragrance-sensitive allergies. We'll definitely return.

Needed to get out of the city for a little road trip and Geralyne’s place was a perfect destination. Wonderful themed unit that reminded me of my childhood. Geralyne thought of everything in the unit and went above and beyond, sharing ideas and new locations for our road trip. Loved the place and the host! I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

This cool, funky little cottage is centrally located in Okanogan (which, sadly, we had too little time to explore). It was the perfect refuge after a very long day of travelling, wrapping around us like a cozy blanket. Geralyne is an excellent, welcoming host who shared many local tips. Highly recommended!

A perfect, cozy place to stay in Okanogan valley. From the way everything is put together and meticulously set up, to the warm and welcoming space, this place definitely embodies a "home away from home" feel. The relaxing atmosphere inside the cottage and the comfy bed is just what you need after a busy day out. But the real gem in finding and booking this property is the woman behind it. Geralyne is the best Superhost anyone could ask for. Such a sweet lady, very responsive to inquiries and very accommodating. She makes it a point that you are well taken care of during your entire stay and have everything you need. Being a Superhost that she is, she exceeded all the expectations we have. We've really fallen in love with the cottage, just as much as we appreciate Geralyne.
