A perfect, cozy place to stay in Okanogan valley. From the way everything is put together and meticulously set up, to the warm and welcoming space, this place definitely embodies a "home away from home" feel. The relaxing atmosphere inside the cottage and the comfy bed is just what you need after a busy day out. But the real gem in finding and booking this property is the woman behind it. Geralyne is the best Superhost anyone could ask for. Such a sweet lady, very responsive to inquiries and very accommodating. She makes it a point that you are well taken care of during your entire stay and have everything you need. Being a Superhost that she is, she exceeded all the expectations we have. We've really fallen in love with the cottage, just as much as we appreciate Geralyne. -- Maria & Tony
A little bit of the old West: Pine Cone Cottage in Okanogan, Washington is a treat! The very small space functions beautifully for one or two people. There are many thoughtful touches throughout the space and LOTS of antiques and collectables from the American West adding rustic charm to the cottage. We enjoyed walking around the town and were lucky enough to be able to go inside the Methodist church, built in the late 1800’s entirely from river rock hauled up to the building site by hand! -- Robert
Cozy little cabins charmingly restored - right in the heart of Okanogan - easy access to western clothing, fishing gear, good ol' grub, quiet drives in wide open country, vistas right out of a Cowboy movie - great getaway - great hosts!!! -- Patty & Denis
Our cottage was one of 4 theme decorated cottages. Ours had an Old West decor and another that we saw I would call English cottage. Ours was probably only about 400 square feet but it had a separate bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen, and I mean Fully. The air conditioning worked well to cool the whole unit. The bedding was comfortable. The flatscreen TV had local channels and Netflix. The decor was incredibly well thought out; you would have to stay a week to really check out everything. We only stayed one night and then needed to be back on the road but the host has an unusual check out procedure that I'm sure people will appreciate. She doesn't rent the cottage out the day after people vacate so you can have almost another full day before you have to leave! Next time we'll be sure to leave more time. – Joan & Howard
We snapped up this cute little place after we decided to attend the Omak Stampede & Powwow at the last minute. Geralyne was excellent to communicate with and told us about all the great places to check out (eat at The Breadline!). The place itself was cozy with a great atmosphere/decor and had all the amenities you need for a weekend getaway. The air conditioning saved us from the intense heat and the bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again! -- Trevor
We loved our stay! The cottage is very well kept and it can be seen that lot of thought has been put into everything Its very cozy! It had all we needed and in fact much much more than that. We would have loved to stay more, but had to get back to hit road. There are 2 cute bedrooms so it was perfect for me, my husband and his parents. -- Anuja (Issaquah, WA)
Wonderfully equipped and cute space! -- Willem (Seattle, WA)
A beautiful and comfortable cottage. We only stayed a couple of days but there is everything there needed for a much longer stay. -- Alisa (Kent, WA)
These quaint cottages with the time period appropriate decor are amazing. The owners have dedicated much time, thought and effort into preserving and making comfortable accommodations. The owners are friendly and very helpful with the accommodations and share a wealth of knowledge about the areas. A great place to relax and enjoy the many natural attractions and activities in the area. -- Diane
We loved this cute cottage! My husband was impressed with all of the tea cups -- and the comfortable bed. You'll be set if you decide to cook. The kitchen is stocked with just about any kitchen tool you might want or need. Slip over to the Breadline Café in Omak for a delicious breakfast. -- Diann
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Nootka Rose. The location is great for visitors to Omak, Okanogan and those looking to get away from more touristy areas. The cottages are charming and clean - full of unique antiques. Lots of attention to detail, all the way down to the french press and espresso machine. Geralyne was a fantastic host, responsive and full of great advice for visitors to the area. We will certainly return when we visit our friends in the area! -- Michael
This small cabin was perfect for our stay in the area. The interior is very tastefully designed and the amenities have been thoughtfully selected. We appreciated the retro design with the modern comforts. --

Adorable little cottage with everything you could need for a short or even a longer stay! Very clean!! Would absolutely stay again!!! --Stacy
We stayed in cabin 5 and it was adorable. Geralyne literally anticipated every need and question we might have. For example, you don't need to wonder if there is a coffee maker or grinder or vegetable peeler. Both the kitchen and the bathroom were well-stocked. Okanogan isn't exactly a tourist town but Geralyne had recommended the farm-fresh stand (open M-F right downtown) as well as Omak Lake. Both were real treats. My husband and I and our two dogs literally had a whole beach to ourselves at Omak and enjoyed it thoroughly. --Petra
Geralyne was a great host. She heard us asking about BBQing and pulled out for us her very clean BBQer and set it in the front yard of the cottage. There were extra toiletries in case we forgot to bring anything, the bedrooms were well air-conditioned and the beds and sheets very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with nice equiment for cooking. It was so fun staying in this historic little place, and I loved the funky little covered porch for drinking coffee in the morning. --Julia
Fun and unique cottages. Great location for exploring the area and Geralyne is quite knowledgeable of the area. --Terri
Great place, great value and thoroughly charming. Highly recommend. --Robert

Great, cozy little retreat. It's walking distance to stores, restaurants, and the river. The cottage is cute and comfy. Lots of cooking utensils, reading materials, and entertainment options. --Leslie
Cute, cozy spot with loads of character. Geralyne and the caretaker, Jeff, were timely and extremely gracious hosts. Would absolutely stay there again. --Melinda
